Thomas Joseph Donnelly was my great grand uncle, the son of James Donnelly and his wife Mary (nee Gallagher). Thomas was born in 1873 and died two short years later as the result of an accident.

ACCIDENTAL DEATH BY BURNING.- At the latter end of last week (reports the Mudgee Post) a child named Thomas Donnelly, a son of Mr. James Donnelly, of Reedy Creek, was accidentally burned to death. The child was near a fire outside of the house, when its clothes caught flames, and it received such sever injuries that death ensued. The funeral took place on last Sunday, and was very largely attended.
