Tracing Family Branches

I have been working on the Walker line of my family this week, updating my online tree and connecting some Ancestry DNA matches with my trees.  So today’s obituary is for my first cousin twice removed Ida Wellington Peet née Hutchens. Ida was the daughter of John Hutchens and his wife Johanna née Walker.  Her grandparents John Walker and his wife Mary née Looby/Luby are my great great grandparents. Source:  MRS. I. W. Today's post involves my 2nd Great Aunt Bridget Greene nee Stevens husband William James Greene.  He was the son of John and his wife Pamaly Greene nee Curll and was born in Gundagai, New South Wales in 1870.  In 1897 he married Bridget Stevens and together they had seven known children.  Bridget apparently died somewhere around 1915 (see more here ).  William then ended up in Queensland where he married for the second time to a Mary Florence Levy in 1916.  William and Mary had two known children.  William is recorded as being buried at the Wagga Wagga Monumental Cemetery, location Roman Catholic No. 2a, however his grave is unmarked. Today's obituary is for my 3rd Great Uncle James Alfred Guymer.   James (also known as Fred) was born c.1858 in New South Wales, Australia, the son of my 3rd Great Grandfather Alfred Guymer (see more here ) and his wife Hannah Maria nee Jones. He married my 3rd Great Aunt Hannah Dolphin Jones from my Jones/Quigg line (see more here  and  here ) c.1879 in New South Wales, Australia.  James died on the 6th December 1892 at Baw Baw, New South Wales, three days after his wife Hannah leaving their only known child Ada an orphan (more information on Ada Guymer can be found here ). Today's obituary post is for my 2nd Great Aunt Hannah Dolphin Guymer nee Jones.  Hannah was the daughter of Joseph Dolphin Jones and his wife Annie Louisa formerly Mitchell nee Quigg (see more here ).  A post about Hannah's daughter Ada can be found here and one mentioning some of her grandchildren here . Today's obituary is for Patrick Joseph Ryan who was the husband of my 3rd Great Aunt Louisa Annie Jones (for more on this family see here ).  He was born about 1867, the son of Michael Ryan and his wife Mary nee Sheedy. On the 10th June 1889 at Goulburn, Patrick and Louisa were married. Patrick died on the 6th March 1944 in Sydney and was buried at Rookwood Catholic Cemetery (see here ). Source: Trove. Mr. P. J. Today's post involves my 3rd Great Aunt Louisa Annie Ryan nee Jones. She was born on the 18th April 1861 the daughter of Joseph Dolphin Jones and his wife Annie formerly Mitchell nee Quigg. Louisa was baptised on the 5th of January 1862 at All Saints Church, Sutton Forest. On the 10th of June 1889 she married Patrick Joseph Ryan at Goulburn. She lived with her husband and children in Cootamundra for many years before moving to Sydney in about 1936. Today's post concerns Vincent Levy Green who was the son of my Great Grand Aunt's husband William James Greene (see more here  and here ) and his second wife Mary Florence nee Levy.  Vincent was born about 1917 in Wagga Wagga.  He died after a short illness at his residence in North Wagga and was buried in the Wagga Wagga Cemetery. Today's post involves the husband of my 4th Great Aunt Tamar Twemlow nee Guymer.  Francis (Frank) Twemlow was the son of William Twemlow and his wife Jane and was born on the 28th March 1835 in Yorkshire, England.  He married Tamar in 1862 in Goulburn and together they had a large family. Frank was a school teacher from 1885 to his retirement in 1900 in New South Wales at various locations. He died suddenly at home on the 30th June 1913 and was buried at the Old Goulburn Cemetery.  More information on Tamar and his family can be found here , here , here and here .
