 Today's throwback photograph is of my Great Grandmother Ada Louisa Stevens nee Jones (b.1891 -d.1961). I have been told that she was a very good dancer and taught many young people to dance in her day. More posts mentioning her can be found here and here . Herbert John Sheather was the husband of my 2nd Great Aunt Hannah Grace Jones.  Born in 1885 the son of John Sheather and his wife Mary Ann née Frost he married Hannah in 1914 at Tumut.  Herbert died in 1962 at Sydney.  More posts mentioning him can be found  here . I found this article in the Trove Digital Newspaper collection and can't help but wonder if the Joseph Jones involved is my 3rd Great Grandfather Joseph Dolphin Jones (see more here ).  My Joseph Jones died as a result of injuries received in a buggy accident on the 22nd May 1885 at Sutton Forest.  If this article below also involves him then it is possible that the after effects of this accident may have contributed to the events that caused his death.  In that injury/weakness caused by the February accident to his arm/shoulder may have led to him releasing the reins when the horse shied in May, which subsequently led to the horse bolting and the buggy overturning causing the injuries that ultimately caused his death. Today's post involves my 3rd Great Uncle James Alfred Guymer.  James died on the 6th December 1892 at Baw Baw, three days after his wife Hannah Dolphin nee Jones, leaving their daughter Ada an orphan.  His father Alfred Guymer was nominated as his estate administrator.  More information on them can be found here , here , here  and here . Today's obituary is for my 3rd Great Uncle James Alfred Guymer.   James (also known as Fred) was born c.1858 in New South Wales, Australia, the son of my 3rd Great Grandfather Alfred Guymer (see more here ) and his wife Hannah Maria nee Jones. He married my 3rd Great Aunt Hannah Dolphin Jones from my Jones/Quigg line (see more here  and  here ) c.1879 in New South Wales, Australia.  James died on the 6th December 1892 at Baw Baw, New South Wales, three days after his wife Hannah leaving their only known child Ada an orphan (more information on Ada Guymer can be found here ). Today's obituary post is for my 2nd Great Aunt Hannah Dolphin Guymer nee Jones.  Hannah was the daughter of Joseph Dolphin Jones and his wife Annie Louisa formerly Mitchell nee Quigg (see more here ).  A post about Hannah's daughter Ada can be found here and one mentioning some of her grandchildren here . My 1st cousin 3 times removed Ada Amelia Quigg nee Guymer was buried on Monday the 28th June 1937 at the Methodist Cemetery, Moorefield (see here  and here ).  Ada was born in 1879 the daughter of James Alfred Guymer and his wife Hannah Dolphin nee Jones (see more here  and here ).  In 1892 tragedy struck with first Hannah and then James dying within days of each other leaving Ada an orphan (see here ).  In 1908 she married John O'Hara Quigg and together they had a large family.  Ada died on the 27th June 1937 at her residence 274 Canterbury road, Campsie. Today's post is about the wedding of my 1st cousin three times removed Horace Austin Charles Ryan and May (Marie or Maisie) Gertrude Ryan.  Horace was the son of Patrick Joseph Ryan and his wife Louisa Annie nee Jones and was born about 1890 in New South Wales.  While his wife was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. Today's obituary is for Patrick Joseph Ryan who was the husband of my 3rd Great Aunt Louisa Annie Jones (for more on this family see here ).  He was born about 1867, the son of Michael Ryan and his wife Mary nee Sheedy. On the 10th June 1889 at Goulburn, Patrick and Louisa were married. Patrick died on the 6th March 1944 in Sydney and was buried at Rookwood Catholic Cemetery (see here ). Source: Trove. Mr. P. J. Today's post involves my 3rd Great Aunt Louisa Annie Ryan nee Jones. She was born on the 18th April 1861 the daughter of Joseph Dolphin Jones and his wife Annie formerly Mitchell nee Quigg. Louisa was baptised on the 5th of January 1862 at All Saints Church, Sutton Forest. On the 10th of June 1889 she married Patrick Joseph Ryan at Goulburn. She lived with her husband and children in Cootamundra for many years before moving to Sydney in about 1936.
