Tracing Family Branches

Herbert John Sheather was the husband of my 2nd Great Aunt Hannah Grace Jones.  Born in 1885 the son of John Sheather and his wife Mary Ann née Frost he married Hannah in 1914 at Tumut.  Herbert died in 1962 at Sydney.  More posts mentioning him can be found  here . Today’s post involves my third great grandmother Margaretta Jane Worldon nee Bell.  The daughter of William Bell and his wife Eleanor nee Sneed she was born at Sutton Forest, New South Wales in 1860.   In 1878 she married James Baker Worldon at Mundarlo, New South Wales.  Together they had eight known children, five of whom tragically died in infancy.  Margaretta died in 1939 at her home in Gundagai and was buried at the North Gundagai cemetery.
