Sunday's Obituary - Alexander McDonnell / McDonell (1841-1931)

Today's obituary is for my 3rd Great Grand Uncle Alexander McDonnell.  Born in 1841 in New South Wales, to John McDonell and his wife Ann (nee McDonald) who came to Australia from Scotland in 1839 on board the ship Asia .  Alexander married Margaret McInnes in 1871 at Goulburn, New South Wales. My 3rd Great Grandfather John Albert McDonnell arrived in Australia from Inverness, Scotland on the 10th May 1839 on board the ship Asia with his parents John McDonnell and Ann (nee McDonald) and five siblings.  He married Christina Sinclair in Goulburn in 1867 and they had three known children together. Sunday's Obituary - Archibald John Sinclair (1848-1928)

Archibald John Sinclair is my 3rd great grand uncle.  The son of Scottish immigrants William Sinclair and Flora (nee McRae) he was born in New South Wales in 1848.   Source:  Mr. Archibald John Sinclair.
